YES! You can walk, jog, and/or run the 5k. This race is intended to be a FUN one, not a competitive one.
We will have a timer at the race, but please remember, we intend for this to be a truly fun run. We will have awards for first overall male and female finishers at 7 different age groups. We will also have prizes for individual and group best costumes!
The race is open to EVERYONE of all ages! The CASA Color Run has been planned with the intention to include adults, teens, children…the whole family! While we love our furry friends, please do not bring along your pets to the Color Run.
Pricing TBA!
Yes, of course! Children of all ages are welcome to join. Children 4 years old and under are FREE but should still be registered. T-shirts can be purchased (size youth small) for children 4 and under for $10.
Yes! We’d even love to see you decorate your “wheels” with lots of color.
All registered runners 5 years old and up will receive a white CASA Color Run t-shirt in their race packets. Additional t-shirts can be purchased for anyone 4 and under (size youth small) for $10. Dress to have fun! We’ve seen costumes, wigs, tu-tu’s, fun socks and more in the past. Need more ideas? Just Google, “What do I wear at a color run?”. Also, consider grabbing your favorite sunglasses (we will also have some available to purchase on the day of the race) and/or a bandana to cover your nose/mouth if you’d like. *Prize will be given to the best dressed!
With your registration (5+ years old), you will receive a t-shirt and color packet. A color packet is a snack sized baggie of powder color that registrants can have fun throwing on each other before the race. Additional color packets will be available to purchase on the day of the event. We will also have neon sunglasses available to purchase in case you want to spruce up your running attire.
Date and time for packet pickup in 2025 is to be determined.
We will not have a shorter route marked, but there are spots throughout the route where a runner/walker can make a turn around to shorten his/her route.
If the race is canceled for unforeseeable circumstances such as inclement weather, the Color Run will not be rescheduled. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Per the manufacturer information, the powder color is made from a food grade cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C and D&C approved dyes. It is gluten, nut, milk, and lactose free. It is also made in a facility that is nut and gluten free. CASA cannot guarantee the presence or absence of allergens.
It sure is! With a little soap and water, you’ll be squeaky clean. Some colors may be more stubborn than others, but with a little scrubbing it will all come out. OxyClean will help in your laundry as well. We recommend 100% cotton clothing for your race day attire.
We would love to have you, your family, and your friends register for the CASA Color Run today! The more, the merrier. We also welcome your Event Sponsorship… either as a business or even as a family. Contact Michelle at mwilder213@gmail.com for more information. Donations are accepted as well.
