What is Give DeKalb County?

Give DeKalb County is a 24-hour fundraising event supported by the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership and the DeKalb County Community Foundation! The event is designed to encourage philanthropy, build community, connect donors to local nonprofits and raise awareness of the nonprofits serving throughout the county. CASA has participated in Give DeKalb County every year since its beginning in 2014. Stay tuned for more information on the 7th annual Give DeKalb County coming May 2020!

Why participate in Give DeKalb County?

Every donation made on the Give DeKalb County day receives a proportional matching donation from a pool of local funds. Therefore, each donation given to CASA DeKalb County on this day will help raise additional funds for abused and neglected children. Give DeKalb County is a great way to get involved and give back to your community. Help CASA reach their goal of raising $18,000!

How can I donate to CASA?

It’s simple! To donate online on the giving day, visit between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm and click on the “Donate” button or one of the suggested amounts. Or, you can donate with cash or check at the DeKalb County Community Foundation, 475 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on the giving day. Donations in person must be delivered by the donor himself/herself.

All of the money raised will go toward supporting CASA advocates as they advocate for and serve as the voice for abused and neglected children in DeKalb County.
